Christmas Desserts: Coffee Panna Cotta with Cacao

Let’s make our Coffee Panna Cotta!

  1. Mix together:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) Whole Milk

  • 2/3 (6 g) Knox Gelatin Packet

  • 1/4 cup (50 g) Sugar. This amount of Sugar will give you a sweet taste, you can use less Sugar to really bring up the Coffee-Chocolate flavor.

2. Let sit for 15 minutes

3. Transfer to a pot. Stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a before-boiling point. Take off the heat as soon as milk starts to bubble up and move inside the pot.

4. Mix in:

  • 2 tbsp (7 g) Cocoa Powder

  • 2 tbsp Instant (13 g) Coffee

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

5. Add 1 cup (250 ml) Heavy Whipping Cream. Mix everything together.

Mix together:  1 cup (250 ml) Whole Milk  2/3 (6 g) Knox Gelatin Packet  1/4 cup (50 g) Sugar. This amount of Sugar will give you a sweet taste, you can use less Sugar to really bring up the Coffee-Chocolate flavor.  Let sit for 15 minutes

6. Transfer onto the jars or ramekins.

7. Cover with lids or cling wrap.

8. Refrigerate overnight.

Time to decorate!

9. In a small pot or skillet over low heat mix together

2 tbsp Sugar

3 tbsp Water

10. In about 2 minutes the mixture will thicken. Do not let it caramelize or change the color. Take off the heat.

11. Transfer to a bowl. This will prevent Cranberries from cooking.

12. Mix in Fresh Cranberries.

13. As the Cranberries are evenly coated in syrup, transfer them onto cutting board, plate or parchment paper. Let them sit for about an hour.

14. Put Cranberries in a bowl with Sugar, toss them around to cover with Sugar from all sides.

15. Sugared Cranberries are ready! Remember to decorate Panna Cotta with Cranberries right before serving. Otherwise, the Sugar on Cranberries will melt onto Panna Cotta.

16. Enjoy!
