  • 1 cup (150 g) of flour

  • 1/2 tsp of baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp of salt

  • 2 oz (50 g) of softened butter

  • 1/2 cup (100 g) of sugar

3. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer, beat the mixture until it turns light and smooth.

4. Now, add in 1 Egg and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract.

5. Next, incorporate half of the dry ingredients into the mixture.

Now, it's time to transfer our batter into the muffin pan:

I personally prefer to have the blueberries on top, but if you desire a more moist texture, you can mix the blueberries into the batter before spooning it into the muffin pan. In that case, consider baking them for an additional 5-7 minutes.

8. Transfer the butter into the muffin pan.

9. Place frozen blueberries on top of each socket (1 cup of blueberries in total).

10. Bake the muffins at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 25 minutes. Once they are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool on a cookie rack.
