Strawberry Basil Lemonade Recipe

This Strawberry Basil Lemonade is just what you need during a hot summer day.

It's refreshing and not overly sweet with a herby basil and mint undertone.

Once you try it - there is no coming back to basic lemonade drinks.

  • Prep Time: 15 minutes

  • Equipment: Blender, Citrus Juicer, Strainer

Let’s make our Strawberry Basil Lemonade:

  1. Start by cutting off flowers from your basil plant, if needed. I had purple basil at the time, but you can use a green one.

2. Juice your lemons and/or limes

3. Blend together all the ingredients, except for water.

4. Now it's time to strain the Lemonade. You may even repeat the straining process to get rid of all the strawberry seeds.

5. Mix the Lemonade with water.

We recommend experimenting with the amount of water and sugar to find your perfect proportion.

Please note, that the taste of a Lemonade will change if you leave it in a fridge, the Mint notes will get stronger after even 1 hour.

6. Add some ice to your glass and Enjoy!
