Pear Caramel Upside-Down Pound Cake

Another Easy Recipe is here. The thing is, you can use almost any Fruit you like instead of the Pear. And if you don't have the loaf pan, no worries, you can use any other round-shaped pan or baking dish.

Ok, let's make our Upside-Down Pound Cake.

  1. Take the Butter out of the Fridge and let it sit at room temperature until it softens.

2. Beat together Butter (3/4 cup/175 g) and Sugar (3/4 cup/175 g) until light and fluffy.

3. Add Eggs (3 count) one by one while beating Butter and Sugar.

4. Now, it's time to add sifted Flour (1 cup/240 g), Pinch of Salt, Ground Ginger (1/2 tsp), Nutmeg (1/2 tsp), Cinnamon (1/2 tsp), Vanilla Extract (1/2 tsp), Cherry Bitter (1 tsp).

5. Mix everything together. The Dough should be smooth and buttery.

6. Slice the Pear. You can use the Slicer or sharp knife to cut the Fruit onto uniform pieces.

7. Line your Pan with Parchment Paper.

8. Pour the Caramel (3oz/90 g) into a Pan.

9. Arrange Pear Slices on top of the Caramel.

10. Pour the Dough over previous Layers of Caramel and Pear.

11. Bake for 90 min at 320F.

12. Place a Serving Plate upside-down over the Pan and turn them over. Remove Parchment Paper and decorate. Let the Cake cool about 5-10 minutes before serving.

13. Enjoy!
